On October 20, 2025, our hosting provider Amazon Web Services (AWS) experienced a regional outage in US-EAST-1, leading to increased error rates and latency across multiple AWS services. This outage affected several of our systems, including Proof Processing and Proof Viewer, resulting in partial service disruption between 3:35 AM and 4:35 AM EDT (7:35 AM – 08:35 AM UTC). AWS identified the issue as related to DNS resolution failures impacting DynamoDB and dependent services. Mitigations were applied progressively, and AWS reported recovery signs around 5:27 AM EDT. Our systems resumed normal operations once AWS services stabilized. All our services are now operating normally, and we continue to monitor system performance to ensure full stability.
